Outcast Mata Headed for Chelsea Exit Door

Juan Mata’s future at Stamford Bridge was last night thrown into doubt, after reports have emerged that new old boss José Mourinho is open to offers for the classy, Spanish international.

Speaking exclusively to Really Like Football, a senior Chelsea player (not named for legal reasons) has revealed that Mata’s hesitancy to fit in with the “Chelsea way” is destroying his standing within the dressing room.

“Yeah it’s a lot of things really. You’ve got a lot of small things on the day to day like smiling at club staff, being nice to fans, talking in a polite way. All the way up to bigger things like not undermining the manager, talking to the black lads, not shagging his mate’s bird know what I mean?”

Despite his performance levels last season leading him to be named as one of the best players in England, his general air of class and decency may cost him his place in the team.
